Craig H. Rhyne, Jr., DMD, (35) is a native of Mount Pleasant, and the son of Dr. and Mrs. Craig H. Rhyne, Sr. Craig attended Mount Pleasant Academy, Moultrie Middle School, and Wando High School (1992). He is a 1996 Citadel graduate and a graduate of MUSC College of Dental Medicine before becoming an oral and maxillofacial surgeon in the U.S. Army. After serving as a facial trauma and reconstructive surgeon Craig was honorably discharged as a Major in 2008. He and his wife chose to return home to raise their family and begin his private practice, Palmetto Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery with partner Dr. Courtney W. Shelbourne.
Craig is married to Jennifer Neal Rhyne, from Columbia, SC a graduate of Wofford College and MUSC. They have three children: Harding (7), William (4), and Charlotte (2). Harding and William are enrolled at James B. Edwards Elementary School. They are active members of Hibben United Methodist Church. Craig enjoys fishing and spending time with the family.
